There's a wolf among the diviners. They can attack their divination target, and then say "I'm the true diviner. Look everyone, my divination target died!". If the real fox dies at the same time, we have no way of distinguishing the true diviner. for that reason I will protect a divination target. The protected person cannot be killed by the wolves, so if they die, there's only one possibility: they are the fox.
